FIFA Appoints Polish referee for W/Cup final.

Szymon Marciniak  Polish referee Szymon Marciniak will officiate the world cup final between Argentina and France on 18 December 2022 at the Lusail stadium, Qatar. The 41-yr old Polish Football Association Referee handled crucial games at the mundial including Argentina 🆚 Australia Round of 16 encounter, and France's Group stage match against Denmark. He is considered as one of the highly rated world referees who officiated the 2018 UEFA Super Cup final as well the UEFA U18 championships. Morocco to host 2023 FIFA Club World Cup

FIFA Club World Cup trophy  Morocco will host the 2023 edition of the FIFA Club World Cup as announced by the world's football ruling body. This announcement was made by the President Gianni Infantino at a press conference in Doha, where he indicated that an expanded version of the 32-team tournament will commence in 2025.  🗣️" We had agreed a few years ago to have a new 24-team men's Club World Cup. It should have taken place in 2021 but was postponed because of Covid," the FIFA president said. "The new competition will take place in 2025 and will feature 32 teams, making it really like a World Cup," he added, without offering further details. NEW: Thomas Tuchel on Ghana Radar

The Ghana Football Association GFA has shortlisted six candidates for the vacant Black Stars job following the resignation of Otto Addo after Ghana's exit from the world cup in Qatar. Top of the list is a surprise package of former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund gaffer, Thomas Tuchel who according to Asempa FM, has held preliminary talks with the GFA Thomas Tuchel  The German tactician is currently in Germany and unattached to any club. His exploits with the Blues winning the UCL in 2021 amongst others plus his rich managerial coaching experience will be a great asset for the West Africans.  Also on the list is former Portugal player and coach, Paulo Bento who recently stepped down as South Korea manager following their humiliating 4-1defeat to Brazil at the world cup.
