Published by Michael Osei  Barcelona players in celebration   In what is described as the 'La El Classico Americano', the clash of the Spanish giants between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the US, The 13-time UCL winners were walloped by a well-organized Barcelona side. Goals by Ousmane Dembele, Felix Martin, and Ferran Torres sealed the deserved win for the Catalans, whilst Vinicius Jnr's penalty miss denied the Galacticos a consolatory goal. USA TOUR: Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle United

Published by Michael Osei   Nico Jackson x Chalobah celebrate a goal  Coming off from a hard-fought 4-3 win over Brighton, Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle in the third game of their USA tour. Both goals arrived in the first half with Nicholas Jackson netting the opener and his second goal of the Premier League summer series in the 12th minute.  Paraguayan winger, Miguel Almiron grabbed the equalizer for the Magpies with a beautiful sublime finish late in the half.  Both clubs had a great game ahead of the new season, especially Newcastle who is in the UCL for the first time in 50 years. Highlights: Chelsea 4-3 Brighton

Published by Michael Osei  Mudryk celebrates a goal with Angelo  Lady luck seems to be shining brightly on Chelsea as they continued their impressive winning streak in their pre-season friendlies ahead of the new PL season. Mauricio Pochettino's  men dominated the encounter when they beat Brighton to register nine goals in two games so far in the preseason campaign.  Nicholas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, and Mykalio Mudryk were all on the scoresheet for the resurgent Blues!! Highlights: Chelsea 5-0 Wrexham

Published by Michael Osei  Nkunku celebrate after scoring the third  Mauricio Pochettino's reign at Chelsea got off on a sound note as the Blues hammered Welsh side Wrexham at the Kenan Memorial Stadium in the US.  The game is the first of the London side's five friendlies lined up ahead of the new (2024/2025) season.
