Indeed, time decides the fate of everything in life, from birth to death and from dusk till dawn. 

And that's the case of Inaki Williams who returned to scoring ways with Athletic Bilbao. 


Having been heavily criticized for lack of goals for club and country so far this season, Ghana's newbie Inaki Williams scored a brace to extend his goal tally to 8 with 2 assists for his club - Athletic Bilbao,  as they beat visitors Real Sociedad by two goals to nil to climb to 7th position on the La Liga table.

A goal in either half saw the Black Stars striker regain confidence in front of goal since October 2022 when he last found the net. 

His form has been great since breaking the deadlock last month, and there are expectations on his performance for the Ghana national team when the AFCON qualifiers resume later this year.

2023 AFCON: Triumphant Elephants win third AFCON Title on home soil

By Michael Osei  2023 AFCON WINNERS  The Elephants of Cote D'Ivoire have won the 2023 AFCON after beating Nigeria in regulation time. The West Africans picked up their third title since 2015 and became the first host nation to win the competition after Egypt in 2006. In a much anticipated final that saw the 60,000 capacity Alassane Ouattara stadium filled to the brim, both West African nations exhibited high-level football with the Ivoriens dominating the encounter on possession. The Super Eagles got into the lead through a Moses Truust-Ekong header in the 38th minute which sent thrills throughout the stadium. Nigeria looked hungry for glory but managed to end the first half on a lone goal after creating a few good chances. Comeback Kings: Ivory coast stun Senegal to book AFCON quarter -finals berth

By Michael Osei  Jubilant Elephants  Senegal got eliminated from the ongoing 2023 AFCON on penalties by a resilient Ivory Coast side after playing out an exciting 1-1 draw in full-time. The beauty of the AFCON cannot be matched when a resurgent Ivorien side that lost 4-0 to Equatorial Guinea in the group phase of the competition stepped up to redeem their image in a thrilling 4-5 penalty win over defending champions Senegal. Hamad Diallo got on the score sheet blasting home a thunderous shot four minutes into the encounter to give the Teranga Lions the lead.
