Life got more exciting for Real Madrid, especially ahead of the UCL encounter with Chelsea next week.  Coming off from a poisonous 6-1 thrashing of Real Valladolid last weekend to dump Barcelona out of the Spanish Kings Cup (Copa del Rey), with an emphatic 4-1 win at the Camp Nou.

With 19 trophies and 281 goals for Los Blancos, once again Super 'Benz' Karim Benzema proved his mettle with a hat trick and an assist to his credit, whilst Vinicius Jnr, opener completed the rout to get the desired win for Carlo Ancelotti's side after a 0-1 loss in the 1st-leg encounter at Madrid.

The win set up a final clash against CD Osasuna who dumped Athletic Bilbao out on penalties.
