Well! its always a good feeling when it rains, especially when you know your season of drought is over. The joy and happiness overwhelme you in an entirely different way..
And that is the story of Ghana's gradual return to soccer dominance once again.
Leapfrogging to maintain the top spot in the AFCON qualifiers in group E wasn't an easy one for the Black Stars, who put up a spirited performance to snatch an away draw with Angola π¦π΄ in Luanda.
The hero this time wasn't a very popular figure - Osman Bukari, the Red Star Belgrade prolific attacker who scored against the Portuguese at the World Cup in Qatar.
A late first touch goal by Bukari sealed a comfortable position for the Stars ahead of their last two games π CAR(Central African Republic), and Madagascar later this year, as they drew 1-1 with the Palancas Negras.

On the flip side, magical moments were seen from the Black Meteors camp following their impressive performances for eliminating Algeria to qualify for the AFCON U23 in Morocco in June/July.
A feat which corrodes a 19-yr absence from the Olympic games since 2004 in Athens which produced Super Stars like Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien and Stephen Appiah.
Ibrahim Tanko's side were solid in both legs of the encounter winning 2-1 on aggregates (1-1 in π©πΏand 1-0 in π¬π).

Let's talk about the young lad from FC Nordjaeslland π©π° - Ernest Nuamah who caught the attention of the world with his pace, skills, passes and finishing which is absolutely superb π―.

His superb contribution and assist to Fatawu Issahaku goal made the difference for the day earning him a potential call-up to the Black Stars.
It was a delightful scene to have Chris Hughton at the stadium to monitor some players as part of his job roles and an opportunity to fish for fresh talents to beef up the senior men's team.
What a great week of international football action globally!
