Otto Addo set to lead Ghana to Qatar

Ex Ghanaian-German born professional footballer, Otto Addo is set to lead the Black Stars of Ghana to Qatar 2022 FIFA world cup.
Following his recent success in qualifying the Stars to their fourth world cup campaign at the expense of their Nigerian counterparts, the Dortmund trainer scout and manager has been given the nod to lead the team to the mundial in November this year.
He confirmed the report in an interview with various media stations, where he revealed the agreement with his employers, "I got the permission from Dortmund under certain conditions and it works out that i can do the international games phases in June, September and also the world cup".
The 46yr-old tactician will continue to work with the trio of Chris Hughton (Technical Advisor), George Boateng and Mas-Ud-Didi Dramani (Assistant coaches) to ensure a smooth campaign for the Black Stars which includes the AFCON 2023 qualifiers and the Kirin Cup in Japan.
The Stars are billed to play hosts Japan, Chile and Tunisia in the four nation tournament which serves as a preparatory ground for the big picture in Qatar.
He is expected to finalize a two year part-time deal with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) ahead of the upcoming crunchy international games for the country.

The FIFA women's U-20 world cup Draw was held few days ago ahead of the international spectacle which kicks off in August this year, with african contingents Ghana and Nigeria getting tough draws.
The Black Princesses of Ghana 🇬🇠were pitched against former champions USA, Netherlands and Japan in a tough group, while Nigeria 🇳🇬 saw themselves in an epic Group C
The competition will take off on Wednesday 10, August and end on Sunday 28, August 2022 in Costa Rica.
