The Football fraternity has been thrown into a state of sadness following the sudden demise of one of the best sports agents in the history of the sport.
Born in Nocefera Salerno, southern Italy 4 November 1967, the 54 yr old Carmine Mino Raiola, a popular and renowned Italian sports agent was pronounced dead yesterday after battling with a deadly lung disease.
The news emerged after his family officially announced his death to the media. Mr. Raiola was a very influential figure who represented soccer stars with the likes of great Czech playmaker Pavel Nedved, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland.
Until his death, he was reported to have facilitated high-profile transfer deals worth $847 million dollars spanning across Europe and South America.
Mr. Raiola's contribution to the development of football helped redefine the sport in a greater light, and he will be eternally honored by the football fraternity.
