Hello 🤩 sports lovers, welcome back to the home of football news.

It has been a busy week of football action across Europe, and last night was a thrilling night for Liverpool who recorded emphatic victories as well as Villarreal, Chelsea and others.

The six-times champions league winners were ruthless as they hammered Manchester United 4-0 at the Anfield Stadium, to go two points clear ahead of Manchester City on top of the English Premier league table.

Mohammed Salah took his goal tally to 22 goals after bagging a brace that ensured the comprehensive victory for the Reds who were impressive throughout the encounter. Porto import Luiz Diaz, and Sadio Mane completed the rout in fashion.

Earlier last week, Cristiano Ronaldo's stunning free-kick, and 60th career hat-trick against Norwich City had raised the hopes of the Red Devils until the announcement of the death of his son on Monday.

Chelsea also picked up a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at Wembley to advance into the FA Cup final against Liverpool slated for 15 May 2022.
