Arsenal kept their champions league qualification hopes alive and became the third club in England to score a record 2,000 goals behind Liverpool and Manchester United following a 1-0 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Bukayo Saka drove a fine low shot into the far left corner to seal the winner for the Gunners who grabbed their fifth win in their last six games for the first time since 2011, stretching their lead over 5th placed Manchester United with 4 points.

The FA cup quarter finals was also in action at Riverside where Midddlesbrough were beaten 0-2 at home by European champions Chelsea.

Romelu Lukaku bagged his 3rd goal of the competition with a cool finish at half time before Hakim Ziyech added a second curler to seal the deserved win for the Blues.
Chelsea have now gone 9 matches unbeaten and occupy third position on the table 7points behind 2nd placed Liverpool who have a game in hand.
